Manufacturing Technician/Assembler
Actively Hiring in 2026
The individuals selected to join our Manufacturing Team will work in various areas on our SONAR and Ultrasonic Production Lines for Government and Commercial Industries. We will train the right candidate for our specialized work. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing environments and with electromechanical assembly. Soldering experience is also beneficial. Under direct supervision, the individual will perform component and/or final assembly operations on transducers, cable assemblies, and electronic assemblies in various stages of in-process or final assembly following established procedures. Individuals applying should be able to lift 50 pounds on occasion.
Qualifications:
– Mechanical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment
– Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks
– Previous experience in a factory setting with a focus on manufacturing processes

Position: All Around Machinist for Engineering Machine Shop
If you are a skilled All Around machinist who is tired of the day to day grind of the job shop environment and would like to work in an exciting and interesting environment . Then Massa is the place for you. Working with our engineers to machine specialized one-of-a-kind product prototypes, jigs, and fixtures for building ultrasonic sensors and Sonars –. The right individual should be proficient in using all standard (non-CNC) machine-shop equipment and CNC conversational language on a Trak milling machine and lathe. This person must be capable of working in an engineering department and have the ability to move from job to job as priorities change.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ability to work with engineering staff to manufacture special-purpose tools and fixtures to produce our products.
- Ability to read blueprints and work with CAD drawings.
- Work from verbal instructions and rudimentary sketches
- Assist engineers in the design of fixturing and offer suggestions for assembly processes.
- Proficient use of Lathes, Millers, and Surface Grinders, both CNC and conventional
Education/Experience:
- Trade School/Technical education and/or career experience; must possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience

Position: CNC Machinist
Specific Job Duties shall include but not be limited to:
- Operates and maintains lathe and milling machine.
- Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
- Assist engineers in the design of fixturing and offer suggestions for assembly processes.
- Ability to work with engineering staff to manufacture special-purpose tools and fixtures to produce our products.
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
- Ability to read blueprints and work with CAD drawings and from verbal instructions/rudimentary sketches
- Using horizontal and vertical band saws, belt/disc sanders, rotary grinders, and buffers
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
- Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
- Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
- Maintains inventory of completed products.
- Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficient in CNC machining and operation, including CNC lathe and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations.
- Familiarity with CAD software and experience in manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of premium skills such as Mazatrol, CNC programming, and GD&T is a plus.
- Experience with relevant tools including bore gauges, hand tools, and tooling.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
